I am fascinated with the body, its physiology, development, and movements. The work comes from a somatic place - an experiential place. So the work is not representational, and not exactly expressive, either, but something like an imprint, an ocilloscope, a geiger counter.
I'm exploring the nature of being - with an eye to the molecular basis of life, the fluid dynamics of life, and the way our physiology reflects patterns and dynamics in the outer natural environment.
