Born in New Zealand, Linda is a long-time Bay Area resident, inspired by California's cultural and geographical diversity. The San Francisco Bay is her home port; she observes and sketches the bay's daily ship traffic, infrastructure, celestial patterns and aquatic residents. She distills her experiences into objects that explore the fluctuating ebb and flow of life on the edge of the Pacific Rim.
