Clint Frederic Wiater
My art is often informed by my queer and spiritual journeys, my interest in the human psyche, and a love for the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally from Wisconsin, I moved here in 2016 and I have found my forever home in San Francisco. f My art journey continues,, full speed ahead, with more inspiration than ever channelling growth and healing and personal recovery, while trying to be a voice for the queer/trans community and advocation for love and understanding.
My political art intends to rally against gun violence and for gun control, to promote peaceful resolution and police reform, and to defend and protect our transgender youth who are threatened out of existence every day, I see the status quo in crisis mode, but have great hope for humanity and believe art is vital in the rebirth of Post-pandemic world.
My bodies of work include encaustic and acrylic paintings, ink works, digital photography, and photo collage. In addition to visual art, I am vocalist and performing member of SFGMC.
